Houston based singer/songwriter Aaron Kaufman weaves his folky/jazzy/pop in with hints of r&b and bossa nova. A winner of the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship, Aaron also won the NPR Whad'Ya Idol contest and has toured throughout the country and played festivals, including SXSW.

Aaron's songwriting is incredibly intimate in nature. For the past few years Aaron has worked closely with the Cancer Center at the Texas Children's Hospital in the Arts and Medicine department. He works with pediatric patients, both writing songs with them and performing for them bedside, which has brought out an incredibly comforting and personal side in his music.
